Year 9 STEM visit Liverpool University

Selected high attaining Year 9 pupils have been taking part in a new opportunity, ran by the University of Liverpool’s Department of Mathematical Sciences.

The project involved the pupils being trained up to deliver maths activities for children from local primary schools. These events have run within our school premises and the pupils have represented the school in an outstanding manner.

As a reward for this the pupils were taken on a trip to the University, this opportunity allowed them to see what they can achieve with their ability and enthusiasm in STEM subjects. (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics).

The day was a huge success and our pupils were a credit to our school.
