On Wednesday 9 October, students from The Ellesmere Port C of E College visited The Whitworth Art Gallery in Manchester.
Students were able to explore the Beyond Faith exhibition which brings together five contemporary Muslim women artists who practise or have trained in the North West of England.
One pupil said: “The Beyond Faith exhibition was really interesting. I found Usarae Gul’s work to be inspiring and it has helped me with my portfolio.”
Megan also added: “I loved seeing the textiles works, especially Robina Akhter Ullah. I want to create my own version in college.” Alicia said: “Amazing trip. Loved all the artwork!”
