There are a number of online learning resources we have made available for pupils to use in the event of the school closing. All pupils will have work set daily on our school VLE (Microsoft Teams). This should be the first place pupils look for work whilst school is closed.
All year groups: School Virtual Learning Environment (VLE)
To access the VLE:
- Visit the school website, click the Menu button, and select VLE. Alternatively go to teams.microsoft.com.
- Log in with your school email address and password.
- Your school email address is your school username followed by @epcollege.org.
- For example:Â 18abcde@epcollege.org
- Your password is the same as your school password.
Year 7 to 11 (KS3 and KS4): SAM Learning and Mathswatch
Work for pupils will sometimes be set on other online learning platforms such as SAM Learning and Mathswatch. If work is set on these platforms pupils will be notified via the VLE (see above).
Logging on to SAM Learning
To login, your child needs:
- The website address: www.samlearning.com. There is also a link to SAM Learning on our school website (click on the Menu in the top right).
- Our school centre ID: CH6EP
- Their username: their date of birth followed by initials, in the format DDMMYYII
- Their password: if they have not yet logged in, this is the same as their username. Pupils can change it to something more secure.
