- Fees: £9,535 (UK students), £12,600 (International students)

- Scholarships and bursaries: Up to £31,000 for eligible subjects

How to Apply
Interview: If your application is successful, based on your eligibility and comprehensive application, you will be invited for an interview to assess your suitability for the programme.
Offer and Enrolment:Successful candidates will receive an offer to join the programme; upon acceptance, you can proceed with the enrollment process.
Induction: Attend a comprehensive induction programme to familiarise yourself with the programme structure, expectations, and support services available.

With FFET’s SCITT programme in partnership with Teach First, you’ll teach in one of the FFET family of schools with expert training and mentorship.
In just one year, you’ll earn Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE), preparing you with everything needed to start your teaching career.
Gain classroom experience from day one, with support from experienced teachers.
With placements in local schools, you’ll build essential skills and prepare for a teaching career with a starting salary of at least £31,000 after 12 months.
What to expect from SCITT?
Hands-on classroom experience
Teach four days a week, applying your learning directly in the classroom, with one dedicated day for training, workshops, and reflection.
Well-being and expert support
We prioritise your well-being with continuous guidance from experienced mentors:
- Subject mentor:Â Strengthens your subject knowledge and teaching skills.
- Lead mentor:Â Supports your progress and development throughout the programme.
Additional support includes peer groups and university tutors to help you thrive.

Subjects you can teach
Teach First’s SCITT programme offers opportunities to train in primary and secondary education, connecting you with schools in your local area.
- Primary education: Early Primary (3–7 years), Primary (5–11 years)
- Secondary education: Biology, Chemistry, Physics, English, Maths, History, Geography, Religious Studies, Computing, Business Studies, Music, Modern Foreign Languages (MFL), Physical Education (PE)
Secondary trainees will gain experience teaching across all key stages, including sixth form.
