On Sunday 8th December, two students from TEPCEC volunteered as Elves for the Santa’s Grotto event at Hadlow Road Station.
This is the fourth year that Friends of Hadlow Road Station have run the Santa’s Grotto event which has become a real community occasion for families look forward to.
The Elves helped over 140 children and their families to visit Santa in his signal box grotto. The students received a large number of very positive comments throughout the afternoon.
The Elves were excellent at introducing the children by name to Santa, along with taking photos of the children with Santa in his fully decorated signal box grotto.
