To commemorate the life and service of our founder, the Frank Field Education Trust has created the Lord Frank Field Community and Social Justice Awards. Lord Field spent his adult life fighting against poverty and social injustice and served his community with distinction for over 40 years.
The purpose of the annual awards is to celebrate the pupils in our community who have gone above and beyond, during the last 12 months, to make a difference in school or in their communities by helping and supporting others.
Nominations will be accepted for those that have made a sustained contribution and difference or those that have demonstrated significant courage, bravery or kindness in a one-off event or incident. It could involve improving the lives of their local community or bringing people together, environmental action or fighting social injustice.
Parents and staff are invited to nominate individuals and outline their contribution and the difference they have made. Nominations will then be reviewed and the most standout contributions will be invited to an awards ceremony in honour of Lord Field and to celebrate and highlight their achievements.
All nominations will receive a certificate to recognise the contribution they have made.
The closing date for applications is Friday 20th June.
