Year 6 to 7 Transitions: Welcome from the Principal
We are delighted to welcome you and your child to The Ellesmere Port C of E College – we look forward to working with you to support your child in preparation for starting with us in September. The transition process from primary into secondary school is a very important milestone and we appreciate that whilst this can be an incredibly exciting time – it can also be a time when you feel a little nervous or have lots of questions about what will happen when you start secondary school.
Successful transition from primary to secondary school is at the heart of our ethos and we take great pride in ensuring that this vital period allows your child to begin life with us, ready to face new challenges with confidence. The transition section of our school website has been designed to help you and your child prepare as much as possible for a successful start with us.
