Dear Parent/Carer
We are pleased to inform you that in our continual bid to raise attainment in Mathematics your son/daughter has been identified to receive access to an additional online resource; Complete Maths Tutor. This resource identifies any gaps in students’ knowledge and has specially designed courses to help pupils improve. The attached User Guide explains how students can use the website to work through a diagnostic test and then through courses selected to work on gaps in their knowledge.
Please encourage your son/daughter to use the website and engage with the diagnostic test and subsequent courses and to seek support from their maths teacher if required.
I would also like to take this opportunity to remind you that all students have access to Mathswatch which they should be regularly using at home to support their learning in school. Teachers will set homework on Mathswatch regularly. Further to this they have also been given details to Times-table Rockstars where they can complete timed challenges aimed at improving their multiplication skills.
We would appreciate it if you can encourage your child to engage with all of these websites to ensure they continue to make progress in Mathematics.
