I am writing to let you know that the trust board have agreed an additional INSET day on Friday 2 July 2021. This day is for staff to revisit our systems in light of Covid and ensure that the strategies and systems we have in place for September maximise pupils intellectual, cultural capital. Work will be set via TEAMS and pupils will follow their normal timetabled lessons on that day. School will reopen as normal on Monday 5July 2021.
May I also take this opportunity to remind you that we have end of year examinations for Years 7, 8, 9, 10 and 12 week commencing 14 June 2021. Years 7, 8 and 9 will take place during normal lessons. Year 10 and 12 will replicate external examination conditions. This will help to prepare them for next academic year.
Finally, please continue to encourage your child to conduct lateral flow tests twice a week as this ensures the safety of our school community.
