The Frank Field Education Trust (FFET) is proud to announce the launch of the Lord Frank Field Community and Social Justice Awards, created to honour the life, legacy, and values of the Trust’s late founder, Lord Frank Field.
Lord Field devoted more than four decades of his life to public service, tirelessly championing the fight against poverty and social injustice. His work touched countless lives and inspired a generation to believe in the power of compassion, fairness and community action.
The new annual awards will recognise individuals across FFET schools, including students, staff, and members of the wider community who have gone above and beyond to help and support others.
Whether through sustained efforts that have made a lasting impact or single acts of extraordinary kindness, courage, or bravery – the awards will celebrate those who embody the spirit of Lord Field’s legacy.
The Lord Frank Field Community and Social Justice Awards will keep his mission alive, highlighting the good in others and continuing the work he dedicated his life to.
Nominations for the Community and Social Justice Awards will open later this term and the Trust encourages everyone in its network to shine a light on those who deserve recognition for making a difference.
