The Experience Week at the College takes place at the end of the summer term, in order to enhance pupil’s learning even further. During this time, normal school timetables are collapsed and pupils take part in a range of exciting activities that enable them to develop their own character and understanding of virtues.
During ‘Experience Week’ all students are given additional opportunities to take part in workshops, trips and visits to develop and demonstrate their understanding of what it means ‘to be more’.
Some of the exciting experiences that took place include:
- Visits to Snowdonia
- Educational visits to Chester Zoo
- History visit to Blists Hill Victorian Town
- Art Trip to Yorkshire
- Italian Languages
- World Sports & World Foods
- Sign Language
- Music Media
- Global Science Experiment
- Victorian Balloons
- Art, Textiles and Cross Stitching
- Careers Bingo
- Italian Languages
- Celtic Art
- Rock Climbing
- Wild Garden & Moth Houses
A key element of the ‘Experience Week’ is allocated time for reflection, allowing students to not only participate in exciting and inspiring activities, but to also consider what they have learnt and how it has impacted upon them.
