Dear Parent/Carer

As we close for the summer holiday, I would like to take this opportunity to say thank you for all of your support throughout this year. All of our children have had the opportunity to be part of incredible activities

this year and have achieved great success. In addition to the excellent academic qualifications our children have gained we have also provided them with social and cultural opportunities that no other school can give.

Our professional production of The School of Rock this year was a huge success, showcasing the incredible creativity and talent of our pupils. Our life-changing trip to China, in partnership with our sister schools within the trust, was a once-in-a-lifetime experience that opened our pupils’ eyes to new cultures and opportunities. We have also seen many sporting achievements this year, with our pupils excelling in various competitions and events. This academic year there has also been an increased number of Trust events that our pupils have had the opportunity to experience and compete in. Our pupils have represented us fantastically, returning victorious from many of these events. And let’s not forget the individual academic achievements that have shone brightly throughout the year. Such achievements and activities are at the heart of our trust motto of “Aspire not to have more but to be more”.

None of this work would have been possible without the support of the staff, FFET trust, the Diocese, our

governing body, you our parents and carers and of course our outstanding pupils. Our summer term will end on Friday 18th July at 1.30pm with pupils being dismissed from 1.15pm.

I would also like to take this opportunity to thank the staff members who are moving on to pastures new at the end of this term. All of these colleagues have contributed so much during their time at EPC and we wish them every success .and happiness for the future. We have recruited new staff for next academic year, many of whom are outstanding teachers and leaders with a proven track record. I am sure you will join me in making all of our new staff very welcome and I will write to you at the start of next academic year to introduce you to them.

We will be welcoming pupils back to the college on Wednesday 3rd September 2025 and the arrangements are as follows:
