We are delighted to announce we have been shortlisted in the 2023 Educate Awards for:
- Most Inspirational Secondary School of the Year
- Kate Watt for Support Star of the Year
The Educate Awards, founded by Kim O’Brien in 2012, have grown into the largest education awards in the North-West. This glittering ceremony is the talk of the region, where the finest schools, colleges, teachers and support staff across Merseyside, Cheshire, Lancashire and Greater Manchester come together to celebrate their achievements in a truly unique fashion.
The 2023 awards ceremony is set to take place at the awe-inspiring Liverpool Cathedral on Friday 17th November 2023.
The winners will be revealed during a prestigious and glamorous event. The night includes a pre-dinner champagne reception, a sumptuous 3-course meal, an extensive programme of entertainment, and, of course, the awards ceremony itself.
Each winner will be presented with an award by one of the generous sponsors, and their names will be entered onto the Educate Awards website winners’ page for all to see.
Judges said: “Ellesmere Port C of E College focuses widely on improvement. The school had a fully funded Hong Kong visit which allowed students to experience a new culture. For some, it was their first time on a plane.”
Judges added: “Kate Watt from Ellesmere Port C of E College is considered to be the heart and soul of the school and has been for decades. Kate ensures that the college’s hardest-to-reach children attend school.”
